What will the next art kit feature?

I'm already well underway working on my next fantasy art kit. This one will contain over 100 character portraits, for use with player characters, npcs or any other purpose that can make use of them, for roleplaying games sessions, quest campaigns, virtual tabletop softwares or commercial digital game projects, to name a handful of target uses. Each of the images will be square shaped, 256 x 256 pixels in size, featuring both genders from young to old and a multitude of humanoid races. My current goal is to have this one finished within a week from now.

Roguelike art kit 4 “Summer forest” has been released.

I've just released a new art kit in my Roguelike fantasy art kit series, this time art kit number 4 "Summer forest". Using the tiles in this art kit, you can easily rig up forest settings, using a whole range of trees, brushes, plants, pathways, grass tiles and more. Example seen has been created by adding the files on top of each other, no after effects has been put on in photoshop afterwards, though this can also be done to further enchance a game map.   This art kit can be purchased from here: http://www.rpgartkits.com/?product=roguelike-fantasy-game-art-kit-4

Download errors after purchasing art kits

Hi, For some reason, over the last few weeks, there has been errors when downloading the art kits after purchases. The quick fix on my end has been to send out direct download links to any customers that unfortunately has encountered these errors. I am currently looking into what is causing the errors and doing what I can to find a "cure". I do suspect that a recent update to the WooCommerce code is the culprit, but I can't say for sure just yet. WooCommerce is the code/plugin being used to run the webshop, and is being used by many [...]

The “Roguelike art kit 2 – Buildings” is out.

After finishing up a few 1:1 scale replica projects that I've been wanting to do for a long time, I started working on 2D artwork again. Everytime I start something, I tend to go all in, and in a few cases I get burnt out. Creating stuff is in my blood, as a curse and as a gift. I'm slowly and finally learning to slow down, to avoid burnouts and longer periods away from what I love to do, painting, 2D/3D art and replica item creations.   I'm continuing the work for the Roguelike art kit series, the Buildings kit [...]

Specific character art kits

New, smaller and more specific Character art kits. I'm trying out new versions of the character art kits, targeting race/gender/profesion 1 at a time, as seen in this example. This should allow gamers and GameMasters to get just what they need, withouth having to hand out money for additional art at the same time. Each kit will have specific posés and a range of items to go with it, fitting the character in the said kit.

Character token creation V2.0

I started working on a new approach to the character token creation this evening. This new process will end up helping me to create even more detailed better looking character tokens. I used a similar approach in the past, this is sort of taking that to the next level.

The near future addition of sci fi art kits.

Over the years I've been creating artwork, fantasy art has been my main field of interest. That said, I have created a fair share of sci fi art and concept art as well. In light of the creation of sci fi themed art kits, I wanted to show off a small bunch of concept art of various aliens, created for a browser game project that sadly never went anywhere in the end.

Getting back into the art game

It's been far too long since I created and released anything for the GM Fantasy art kits and I've received several e-mails from concerned fans. First off..I'm still alive, although suffering from a burn out and gradually recovering from that, finding ways to get back into the creative side of my brain. I guess it is possible to take damage from doing too much of what you love to do, and I've learned that the hard way now. For several months I've not even touched photoshop for painting purposes.   I know I should also start posting more often, time [...]
